About the Role:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into strategic business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze trends, and provide data-driven recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
- Translate business requirements into clear analytical tasks.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize information needs and define KPIs.
- Create and maintain documentation for data processes and reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve data pipelines and data quality.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all reporting platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to explain complex data in simple terms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of A/B testing, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
